The Eye Behind
Jette Shoots
My love of food started in Puerto Rico, at my grandfather’s house in the countryside up in the hills, where I remember the smell of fresh milk, homemade food, and rain falling on a tin roof.
Those early memories stayed with me and still shape the way I see food now through texture, mood, and story.
Before photography, I spent more than 15 years in New York’s fashion industry and later trained and worked as a pastry chef after moving to Miami.
That combination of editorial instinct and culinary experience continues to inform the way I style, light, and compose every image.
Today, I create food and product imagery for restaurants, bakeries, cafés, and brands, with a focus on texture, mood, and story.
I’m based in Miami and available for travel.
